Redleaf Press | Published a Book on Early Childhood or Family Child Care?Have you published a book we should carry in our catalog?
Redleaf Press selects 60 to 80 new outside titles annually to include in our catalog. We distribute more than one million direct-mail catalogs throughout the year.
There are many ways that resources from other publishers are introduced to Redleaf Press. The catalog acquisitions editor
evaluates review materials sent by publishers;
peruses catalogs from publishers of relevant materials and requests review copies;
responds to inquiries from authors who want their work considered;
talks with authors and publishers at conferences and workshops about their materials; and
considers suggestions from people in the field, including teachers, trainers, directors, and administrators.
Materials are evaluated on the basis of content and our current catalog needs. See our Acquisition Standards for a full explanation of our content guidelines.
Reviewing materials is an ongoing process, and selections may be under consideration for a year or more. Final choices for each year's spring catalog are made by the end of December, and final choices for each year's fall catalog are made by the beginning of May. If you have a published work that you would like to have considered for inclusion in the Redleaf Press catalog, submit a non-returnable review copy to the following address:
